On June 12, 2014 at the Torrance Marriott South Bay, Stage and Screen Actress, Ms. Erica Cottill will discuss how to break into screen and internet films and how to start off preparing scripts and screen writing samples that will open doors for the budding film artist. She will also explain how and how not to solicit for film jobs when there is no budget but the idea for your film is hot off the press.
 
Erica Cottrill, CEO of Hourglass Women & Film, has several movie and television credits in the United States and abroad, with extensive training in film, drama and acting. She is an American actress who is of Italian and Irish decent. Once a small town girl from Pittsburgh, she
is the cousin of Three’s Company’s Joyce Dewitt. Erica is a graduate
of Point Park Conservatory with a concentration study in Theatre and Fine Arts. She has performed in Pippin, Funny Thing on the Way to the Forum, and Two Éclairs. She is known for her lead role in Ring Round the Moon as the flamboyant Lady India. She was also featured in Disney's Inspector Gadget. Erica has studied with established Pittsburgh filmmakers, which is when she discovered her passion for film. Erica journeyed to Los Angeles to pursue her passion in 2002. She extensively trained with Carolyn Barry Fawnda McMahan. She
