Programme Highlight:
It is a joint event between HKIE-BSD and HKIE-YMC and a free of charge activity.
Trane, a business of Ingersoll Rand - the world leader in creating and sustaining safe, comfortable

world. Trane solutions optimize indoor environments with a broad portfolio of energy efficient heating,
ventilating and air conditioning systems, building and contracting services, parts support and
advanced controls for home and commercial buildings.
To cope with Tranes continued business expansion, Trane has built a new factory in Zhongshan in
2005. The project was divided into 2 phases, occupying a total area of more than 35,000 square
metres. 4 production lines are in full operation since September 2005. Products manufactured include
air handling unit, water cooled scroll chiller, water cooled self-contained unit, and water source water
pump unit, all to be sold to the Southern China and South East Asian markets. Trane now has 2
factories in China. The one in Taicang, J iangsu Province, is mainly producing large-scale chiller, while
the Zhongshan factory is focusing in the production of light commercial units.
LUVATA is a coil manufacturer with 7 factories, producing over 30,000 coils per day. To ensure a
steady supply of quality copper tubes, LUVATA has its own copper tube factory. With the best raw
materials and most advanced production technology, the company is famed to produce durable coils
meeting the stringent requirements of Underwriter Laboratories Standard 207 and ARI Standard 410.
LUVATA set up a factory in Zhongshan City, China in 2003, producing coils for both commercial and
industrial purposes. Key product lines include fluid coil and condenser coil. With years of R&D and
production experiences, the quality of coils produced by LUVATA is definitely trustworthy.

by email and / or posted on HKIE-BSD website no later than 30 November 2011 (Wednesday).
