 DURING THIS THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY ,
please take time toreflect upon all the many blessings the Lord has given to you. It’s so easyin the midst of all the “traditional” stuff we do to forget about the moreimportant things. Don’t forget to be thankful for your family. You maygo through difficult times together, face crisis, deal with dilemmas, butbeing able to do that …. TOGETHER…is a blessing. Be thankful foryour job. Many, many people are without jobs and to have a job, even if it’s not what you really want to do, is a blessing. If you’re looking for a job, go ahead and be thankful for the job the Lord is going to provide. That’s called faith, and God honors faith! Be thankful for health andstrength. Even if you’re dealing with some health issues, know that as aChristian you are blessed to serve a God with the power to heal! Bethankful for friends. These are people who support you and love you, notmatter what! Most of all, be thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ. Bethankful for your salvation, for a Savior Who is your Advocate, Healer,Friend who sticks closer than a brother, a Deliverer, a Help in time of trouble, a Shield and Buckler, a Strong Tower, a Place of Refuge…I couldgo on and on, but my point is: BE THANKFUL FOR JESUS! Take timeto tell Him how much you love Him and how thankful you are for Hismercy and grace in your life.
ON BEHALF OF MY FAMILY,
