Welcome to AlphaVision™ 
2.0 for Bloomberg.
Similar to video games, in AlphaVision™ you move a
bout a 3D space. You zoom, pan, and rotate aroundany of the three axes.
AlphaVision™ then taps the ability of your mind‟s eye to recognize data patterns, and makes it easy to
navigate to what stands out. Once there, you can access the wealth of data that powers the Landscape.

Installation & Startup
You will be provided with a direct link to download the
AlphaVision™ 
forBloomberg software. Download, and then run the executable file. The
AlphaVision™ Setup Wizard will guide you through the installation.
 
Open AlphaVision™ by double
-clicking on the desktop shortcut (or navigating toStart-->All Programs-->Aqumin-->AlphaVision-->AlphaVision).
The first time you run AlphaVision™ for Bloomberg, it will ask you to enter your
license key.
If you get an error, it is likely caused by your firewall. Pleasecontact Aqumin for assistance.
Each time you start the program, it will ask you to select a universe of securitiesfrom the Bloomberg data feed.You can select whatever is of interest to you, or you may load securities directlyfro
m a CSV file of Bloomberg Equity or Equity Index identifiers (e.g. „IBM USEquity‟, „SPX Index‟).
 As you are starting out, the S&P 1500 (SPR) is a nice mix of securities to use.
To use Real-Time Bloomberg fields, please keep your universe limited to no morethan 3500 securities.
(If you select a universe that contains more than 3500 securities, real-timesubscriptions will be automatically disabled to comply with the Bloomberg real-time limits).
After initialization and data retrieval, the

AlphaVision™

Metrics

Height Metric
are displayed above thehorizon, and those with negative values are displayed below.Securities with positive values of the
Color Metric
are shown by default in shadesof green and those with negative values in shades of red.
Groups
of 
securities are represented as “blocks” of buildings (
you can group byIndustry, Sector, etc.).The
Sort Metric
determines the size (footprint) of buildings and how securitiesare sorted within Groups. The default sort order is Front to Back, Left to Right;i.e., the security with the greatest value is the largest building, positioned at thelower left of the Group.You can use
Filters
and
Metric Ranges
to view only the securities that matchspecific criteria.You can create
Watch Lists
to flag and track particular securities (such as thosein your portfolio).

Using the AlphaVision™ Landscape
 
You can easily navigate the Landscape using your mouse, keyboard and screen tools.
 
Find and Select Securities
Identify
- Hover the mouse over a building, and
the security‟s
ticker andinformation appear in a screen tip.
Select
Left click on a building
 Search
- Locate a specific security or group (Industry, Sector, etc.) using the
Search
box above the Landscape.
Move and View the Landscape
Rotate/Tilt
 
Left Mouse (click and drag) 360º in any direction.
Pan/Move
 
Middle Mouse (click and drag), or ALT+Left Mouse, or Left and RightMouse buttons simultaneously.
Zoom
- Right Mouse (click and drag), or Middle Mouse wheel, or Zoom control atthe bottom right of the Landscape
Center
Shift + Left click on a building to center an area
Flip the Horizon up/down
 
Click on the
Flip horizon
button on the right side of the Landscape
Height bar
Adjust the scale of the building heights using the slider bar at thebottom left of the Landscape.
Transparency bar
Adjust transparency to see through to buildings on the otherside using the "Transp" slider bar above the Zoom control
Securities Information
HUD
 
The Heads-Up Display tables at the top of the Landscape shows currentMetric assignments and market information for a selected security.
Price Chart
- At the bottom right of the Landscape, the Price chart presents EODhistorical pricing for a selected security. Change the time period by clicking onthe choices at the bottom.
Add to Watch List
 
Highlight the desired Watch List, select the security, thenpress the "W" button on your keyboard (or click and hold Right Mouse). You will beprompted to create a new Watch List if one does not already exist.
Link to more info (i.e. Google Finance/Twitter/SEC Filings)
- Select the security,then click and hold Right Mouse and choose from the menu selections.
