Questions and Answers
Count Me In! starts today. Heres what you need to know about it:
Who for?
Everyone who counts All Souls as their home church - whethere youve been coming for fourteen
years or four weeks.
What for?
Time to talk about belonging and contributing to the life of All Souls and to respond with our
commitment for the coming year.
Why now?
Were planning ahead: for September (re-forming our teams, refreshing our childrens groups and
planning midweek programmes) and towards 2015 (our financial budget). Good planning has to be
based on realistic commitments of each of us to belong and contribute to the life of All Souls.
Whats it about?
Three commitments. That as a member of All Souls I aim to:
Grow in my faith
Serve in a team
Give financially to the life of All Souls
What do I do?
Listen to the Sunday talks and online videos, read the pack every household will receive (or pick one
up from Sunday 29
th
) and then respond (online or in writing) by the middle of July. Tell us how All
Souls can help you grow in your faith, let us know what team(s) youll serve on next and say how
your financial giving will start or change.
Why respond?
A Church is as healthy as its members. For All Souls is to continue to thrive, we need to say Count
Me In!, so that the PCC, Staff Team, Team Leaders and I can plan for the life, health and growth of
All Souls and for its impact on our lives and on the communities we serve.
By when?
We need responses by mid-July. That will give us time (for example) to form our teams for September
and to plan financially with wisdom.
Whats at stake?
Having childrens leaders to run all our groups in September.
Finances to replace Calum and to appoint a Children & Youth Director.
Making big steps forward with midweek small groups, worship and prayer.
Thank you for being part of what God is doing here in All Souls! Take the
time to read the Count Me In! pack when it arrives in a few days and to
respond as soon as your are able. Thanks so much!
