Presents 2012 Speed Trials Rules (Based on 2011 SCTA Rulebook) NOTICE:
The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules govern all events, and by participating in these events all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF, OR COMPLIANCE WITH, THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator or official. The

and the Contest Board are final. All regulations are subject to change without notice; in the event of change, all prior inspections and classifications are nullified. Any request for deviation from any rule contained in this rule book shall be submitted, in writing, to the Contest Board no less than 45 days prior to a meet.
The rule change process is an ongoing one. Any active DLRA member may submit a request for a rule change or clarification at any time by obtaining the proper form on-line at www.dlra.org.au or the registration tent at an event. The form shall be completely filled out and shall be submitted by Australia Post or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The forms will be routed through the appropriate technical chair and committees for comment. When all appropriate research is completed, issues will be put on the agenda for discussion at the next scheduled meeting (usually in May/June of each year). Submissions received after 1
May of any year will not be considered until the next year’s agenda
