Wedding services may be scheduled from Monday to Saturday. We recommend thatyou check availability of the church and the Clergy prior to making firm bookings for thewedding reception. Weddings are not held during Holy Week (the week precedingEaster) or during the Easter Weekend.
Officiating Clergy
The parish clergy normally officiates at weddings that take place in the church. Other clergy may assist at the invitation of the parish clergy.
Wedding Vows
No alterations may be made in the declarations made in the wedding vows found in theauthorized wedding liturgies of the Anglican Church of Canada; however it ispermissible to add a personal statement
of commitment written by the couple.
Wedding Music
Once you have booked your wedding date with a member of the Clergy, please contactthe Organist through the Parish Office to arrange an appointment to discuss the musicfor the service. The music must be appropriate for Christian worship, and in keepingwith the musical tradition of the parish. Vocalists and instrumentalists must be approvedby the Organist.The Organist may be able to provide helpful suggestions regarding personnel, and willarrange rehearsal time with additional musicians who need to be accompanied at thepiano or organ.
Wedding Flowers
The clergy can advise you on suitable locations for floral arrangements. Decorativebows or other decorations may be attached to the pews with ribbon or elastic only.
Photography During the Wedding
Photography is permitted during the processions and the signing of the register, and notduring the wedding ceremony. Posed shots during the ceremony are not permitted. For pictures
during the processions, the photographer is invited to stand in the choir stalls.Please inform your photographer of these policies.Please speak to the Clergy before the wedding if you wish to use a videographer.
