CHECKING BEFORE WASHING AND CARING FOR GARMENTS
Must fo||ow the checkpo|nts |n order to avo|d mach|ne prob|ems or damages on garments.
- lf the be|ow prob|ems are caused by customer`s fau|ts, separate serv|ce fee w||| be charged.
Checkpoints Before Starting Washing
Oheck |f the c|othes are b|each|ng or not.
- Add ||qu|d detergent to a wh|te towe| and the garment where you can`t not|ce we||. Then, rub
together strong|y. Oheck |f the co|or transferred to the towe|.
- Be carefu| for scarves and |mported c|othes s|nce they are eas||y d|sco|or|ng.
- Oheck for sta|ns or part|a| d|rt.
- lf sta|ns are found, use the towe| wet w|th detergents to rub on |n a s|ng|e d|rect|on.
- Before wash|ng, the s|eeves, co||ar, dress hem and pockets are pre-treated by brush|ng w|th
detergents.
The wr|nk|e-processed c|othes made of woo| are spec|a||y treated by f|x|ng them w|th threads
before wash|ng. The threads sha|| be removed after the c|othes are dr|ed.
Not washab|e |aundry
O|othes those are eas||y transformab|e even by soak|ng |n water.
- Even by soak|ng |n water, neckt|es, brass|eres, jackets, su|ts and coats can be eas||y
transformed ||ke shr|nk|ng and d|sco|or|ng on the garment surfaces because they are most|y
made of rayon, po|ynos|c, cuff and the|r b|end fabr|cs.
- The wr|nk|e-processed, embossed, or res|n processed products are easy to transform even
by soak|ng |n water.
- Eas||y d|sco|or|ng products made of cotton and woo|, wr|nk|ed s||k, |eather products, |eather
accessory, |eather ornamented c|othes and |ts accessory.
- Don`t wash those c|othes w|thout hand||ng gu|de||ne or mater|a| |nd|cat|on tag.
About Detergent
- When detergents are not d|sso|v|ng we||, use warm water about 40O} to d|sso|ve the
detergent.
- se an appropr|ate amount.
- Even |f excess amount of detergent |s used, there |s not much d|fference |n wash|ng
resu|t. lt may cause damages to the garments because r|ns|ng |s not enough.
- The b|each|ng agent may cause damages to garments s|nce |t |s strong a|ka||.
- Do suff|c|ent r|ns|ng because the powder detergent |s eas||y rema|ned on the garments
caus|ng bad odors.
- lf too much detergent |s used or co|d water |s used, |t doesn`t d|sso|ve comp|ete|y and
rema|n on the garments, hose or sp|n basket, caus|ng contam|nat|on on c|othes.
- ln case of reserved wash|ng, detergents must be put |n the detergent box. lf the
powder detergents are spread on |aundry d|rect|y, |t may cause d|sco|orat|on.

CARlNG FOR CLOTHES BEFORE WASHlNG
Take out persona| be|ongings from pockets.
- Oaut|on, Oheck the pockets! Ha|rp|ns and co|ns cause damages to
c|othes and wash|ng mach|ne. They make no|se and prob|ems to
the mach|ne. Must check the pocket.
If pants zippers are open whi|e washing, the spin basket may be damaged. The zipper
shou|d be c|osed and fixed with a string before washing.
- Meta| on the c|oth|ng may cause damage to the c|othes and the tub.
- Turn c|oth|ng w|th buttons and embro|dered c|othes |ns|de out the
before wash|ng them.
- O|oth|ng w|th |ong str|ngs may become entang|ed w|th other c|othes,
and may cause damage to the c|oth|ng. Be sure to f|x the str|ngs
before wash|ng.
Waterproof c|othes (Ski Wear, Diaper Covers, Footboards} are not a||owed for washing.
- Th|s may cause the |aundry to be ejected or cause the wash|ng mach|ne to v|brate
abnorma||y, wh|ch may resu|t |n persona| |njury or damage the wash|ng mach|ne, the f|oor
or the c|oth|ng. D|apers, waterproof c|oth|ng, ra|ncoats, umbre||a covers, sk|wear, car cover
sheets, and s|eep|ng bags, etc.}.
- When the tub rotates, water may become trapped |n the waterproof c|oth|ng or fabr|c and
can co||ect |n a corner, caus|ng abnorma| v|brat|ons. ln add|t|on, the |aundry r|ses and may be
ejected and cause persona| |njury.
Shake the dirt or soi|s from c|othes.
- So|| and sands may rub de||cate garments to cause damages and the wash|ng resu|t may be
unsat|sfactory.
Do pre-washing for white socks, s|eeves, and co||ars before the main washing.
- For sta|ns and d|rt on co||ars, s|eeves, hems, and pockets, app|y some detergent to them
and app|y |t ||ght|y w|th a brush before wash|ng.
- se powdered or ||qu|d detergent. Do not use soap as the tub may become d|rty from the
d|rt on |t.
Turn inside out for those nappy c|othes before washing.
- lf c|othes have too much fore|gn matter, separate them for wash|ng.
Other c|othes may p|ck up those d|rty matters d|rt, thread}.
- Wash b|ack co|ored c|othes and cotton towe|s separate|y. lf they are
washed together, towe|s may p|ck up d|rty matters. Oheck before
wash|ng.
Cashmi|on and those garments having big vo|ume and |ightweight (eg. Lasedecorated
c|othes, |ingerie, ny|on stocking, synthetic fabrics etc.} may rise and
cause damages to the c|othes and prob|ems to the machine. Use the
|aundry net or wash them separate|y.
- Must put those |ong str|nged c|othes, |ase-worked c|othes, bed cover
sheet, woo| c|othes |nto a |aundry net before wash|ng.
- Put de||cate c|othes |n the |aundry net.

Curtains, f|oating garments or b|ue [eans sha|| be pressed not to f|oat on the water.
- lf they are f|oated on the water, press Start/Ho|d button to stop and press them to sock |n
the water. lf the wash|ng goes on w|th c|othes f|oat|ng on the water, |t may cause damages to
the c|othes and the wash|ng mach|ne as we|| as unsat|sfactory wash|ng resu|t.

HOW TO WASH AUTOMATICALLY DEPENDS ON THE LAUNDRY
Before start|ng wash|ng, check the fo||ow|ng,
- Oonnect the water supp|y hose to the water tap. |eave a tap open. P|ug the power cord |n. Make sure
to |ay down the dra|n hose.
Washing for the first time
Before wash|ng c|othes for the f|rst t|me, you must run a comp|ete cyc|e w|thout c|othes.
To do th|s:
1. Press the Power button.
2. Open the detergent drawer and |nsert a ||tt|e detergent.
3. Turn on the water supp|y to the wash|ng mach|ne.
4. Press the Start/Ho|d button.
Th|s w||| remove any water from the manufacturer`s test run rema|n|ng |n the mach|ne.

Automatic Sensing Function
- At every course except O|ean tub, de||cate course} the amount of |aundry |s automat|ca||y
sensed and then appropr|ate water |eve|, wash|ng t|me, r|ns|ng cyc|e, and sp|nn|ng t|me are
automat|ca||y se|ected for automat|c wash|ng.
- After the power |s on, a course |s se|ected and Start/Ho|d button |s pressed. Then, the
wash|ng board starts sp|nn|ng w|thout water. Th|s act|on senses how much |aundry |s |n
the wash|ng basket, not a mach|ne prob|em. After th|s sens|ng process, water supp||es
automat|ca||y.
Adding Detergent and Softener
- lt senses the amount of |aundry and |nd|cates the water |eve| and amount of detergent. Then,
|t starts water supp|y r|ght away.
- Dur|ng the water supp|y, |t |s poss|b|e to open the detergent box and add detergent.
However, |t |s better to press Start/Ho|d button to stop water supp|y and add detergent.
O|ose the ||d and press Start/Ho|d button aga|n. Th|s way |s much more conven|ent.
- lf the softener |s |nserted |n the softener d|spenser, |t automat|ca||y adds |n at the |ast r|ns|ng
cyc|e.
Put the |aundry into the washer and add detergent, too.
- Be carefu| not to over|oad. se r|ght detergent for the fabr|cs you are wash|ng.
- lf the ||d |s open wh||e runn|ng, the wash|ng mach|ne |s stopped automat|ca||y for
safety. Except, water supp|y cont|nues wh||e the ||d |s open.}
- When hot water |s se|ected, both co|d and hot water are supp||ed for the f|rst 20
seconds |n order to protect the c|othes.

CONNECTING THE WATER SUPPLY HOSE
1. Remove the adaptor from the water supp|y hose.
2. F|rst, us|ng a +" type screw dr|ver, |oosen the four screws
on the adaptor. Next, take the adaptor and turn partb}
fo||ow|ng the arrow for gap about 5 mm between them.
3. Oonnect adaptor to the water tap by t|ghten|ng the screws
f|rm|y. Then, turn partb} fo||ow|ng the arrow and put a} and
b} together.
4. Oonnect the water supp|y hose to the adaptor. Pu|| down
the part c} of the water supp|y hose. When the part c}
|s re|eased, the hose |s automat|ca||y connected to the
adaptor mak|ng a 'c||ck` sound.
5. Oonnect the other end of the water supp|y hose to the
|n|et water va|ve at the back of the washer. Screw the hose
