Tabular Reabsorption Includes Passive and ActiveMechanisms
 
 
- Solutes are transported through the cells ( transcellular route ) by passive diffusion or active transport or between the cells ( paracellular route ) by diffusion.- Water is transported through the cells and between thetubular cells by osmosis.
Active Transport
