RESPONSE TO ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE


Plaintiff Larry Klayman hereby responds to this Court's Order to Show Cause of June 23,
2014.
Plaintiff received the Court's scheduling order and it was reviewed by Plaintiff and one of
his associates. See Exhibit 1. Plaintiff's associate, who is in charge of marking up all deadlines
for the firm, marked up the dates on the scheduling order, including the October 1, 2014 deadline
to conduct mediation, but mistakenly did not see the requirement to file a notice within two
weeks advising the Court of a scheduled mediation time. This requirement was thus
inadvertently not marked up on Plaintiff's calendar and went unnoticed until this time.
Plaintiff and his associate apologize for not having seen the requirement for filing the
notice, and have already contacted opposing counsel in order to schedule the mediation.
Plaintiff is contemporaneously filing a Notice of Mediation that sets forth the scheduled
mediation time.
