NEC Australia partners with Intermoco Limited to delivercombined utilities, voice and data managed services offering toAustralian business
Melbourne, 26 November 2009
- NEC Australia today announced it has signed a StrategicBusiness Partner Agreement with Intermoco Limited, an ASX listed leading provider of metering andmonitoring solutions for energy and water management, to roll out a combined utility servicesoffering to provide business with competitive bundled rates for electricity, gas, water, voice and dataservices.The agreement will enable both companies to market and sell each other’s products and serviceswithin the NEC customer base and Intermoco’s Embedded Network customer base.Through its Utiligy brand, Intermoco provides an Internet-enabled energy metering and resourcemanagement solution to utilities, corporations, local councils and government departments to helpthem monitor, manage and minimise their consumption of electricity, gas and water.The partnership with NEC enables Intermoco to extend its packaged offering to include voice anddata products and services, including the supply, installation and maintenance of telephony anddata solutions.“Today’s businesses require efficiency and competitive pricing in all areas of their business.
