Confidentiality
To ensure the confidentiality of all data, a minimum number of observations arerequired in order for statistics to be displayed. Three organizations must report atleast three observations for a variable in order for the mean to be displayed. Fourorganizations and four observations are required for display of the median. Fiveorganizations reporting at least five observations is required to display 25th and75th percentiles. In order for the 10th and 90th percentiles to display, fiveorganizations reporting at least 10 observations are required. Where there hasbeen insufficient data for analysis, this has been indicated with "-".Human resource professionals who deal regularly with surveys are aware of thevariance that may exist in survey data. Data may fluctuate slightly from year toyear due to changes in the participant base. It is also important to note that withina sample, a significant amount of data may be reported by one organization. It ispossible for data to change drastically from year to year due to industry-relatedfactors and economic conditions. Numerous layoffs and changes in pay policiesmay significantly influence fluctuations in salary survey data.

Incentives and Benefits Prevalence
- Provides an overview of the prevalenceand practices and policies regarding short- and long-term incentives and benefitsplans.
Regression Analysis
- Provides the regression analysis based on actual marketdata and Mercer's International Position Evaluation (IPE) classifications.
Regressed Market Table
-Displays regressed statistics. Regression lines arebased on individual incumbent data following Mercer’s standard process. Aprocess has been implemented that reduces the influence of organizationsreporting a large sample size relative to other participants. This differs from thedata in the “Actual Market Data by Position Class” report which represents all data.
Pre-established Actual Market Data Reports
- Provides the statistical analysis ofactual market data for the survey positions.
Survey Methodology
- Provides a description of the methodology used inanalyzing the data collected and definitions of all variables and statistics includedin the survey report. The valuation methodology for determining benefit values andthe values for long-term incentives are also described.
