This global charity organisation that sends students abroad and gives foreign students theopportunity to work in the UK, relies on the success of Careers Fair to fund this project.
Managed the AIESEC Loughborough Careers Fair in my 2
nd
year of University. The eventwas a success where 1565 students attended surpassing the target set by more than 300.
Provided strong leadership to manage and motivate the team to meet our target for the fair.
Promoted and marketed the fair to students, including lecture shouts, creation andpublication of posters and using social networking sites.
Organised all of the logistics for the event including time schedule, venue and attendees.
Analysed the previous successful fairs and set out a plan to improve in all aspects.
Negotiated around problems as and when they arose.
Communicated via email, telephone and face to face with organisations persuading them tobuy a stand at the fair.
Liaised closely with various stakeholders to do with the careers fair both internally andexternally to the University.
Sold the Work Abroad Programme to students.
Leading member of AIESEC Loughborough where teamwork is vital in fulfilling ouobjectives.
