HelloParents,Iamsopleasedtohaveyourchildreninmyclassthisschoolyear.Ilookforwardtogrowingwiththemandbeingpartoftheirlives.Kindergartenisafantasticyear;thechildrengrowandlearnsomuch.Oneofmyfavoritethingsaboutteachingthisageistheirenthusiasmandsenseofwonder.Theyconstantlyremindmeofthebeautyinlifeandsimplejoys.Ifeelhonoredtobeinyourchild'slifeandItaketheresponsibilityyouhaveentrustedtomeveryseriously.Asparents,youhavetheawesomeresponsibilityofbeingyourchild'sprimaryeducator.AtTheHighlands,weareheretosupportyouinthismission.Ihavealsobeenblessedthisschoolyearwitharoommom,Mrs.RachelLamberti.Ourroommomwillbeverybusythisyear,(Ithankyouinadvanceforyourwork).Ifanyoneelsewouldliketohelpinoroutoftheclassroom,pleaseletoneofusknow.Ineedvolunteersforthelunchroom,onWednesday.Ineedsomeonetohelpwithopeningfooditems,takingkidstoandfromthebathroom,goingtorecess,andoverallsupervision.Ialsoneedsomeonetotakechargeofourclassroomwebpage.Atthebeginningoftheschoolyearanactivityfeeischarged.Ourroom-momswilltakecareofcollectingthefund.Thefundisusedtopurchasepartysupplies,craftsfortheschoolyear,artsupplies,andteachingaids.ThefundwillalsowillcoveraMother'sDaygift,andaFather'sDaygift.Homeworkwillbeassignedaboutfourtimesaweek.Allhomeworkwillbesenthomeintheredfolders.Youmayalsofindsightwordlistsandnotesfromschool.Pleasehelpyourchildcompletetheirownhomeworkandreturnitdailyintheredfolder.Studentshavebeeninstructedonhowtoturnintheirhomeworkandwheretoplacetheredfoldereverymorning.Later,studentswillalsobeassignedreadingbookstoreadathome.Soonthechildrenwillbepaintingartprojectsinschool.Everychildwillneedasmocktowearovertheiruniform.An
