Thanksgiving

It’s a great time to be alive. There are challenges developing in my life, but in the
future I will be a better man than what I am presently. Years are coming by fast
now. Cultural shifts in the world almost seem to transpire at a months pace.
Paranoia about terrorism is a daily reality even in America. Police brutality is
rampant, abortion on demand is still high, and our rights are threatened
(examples include the militarized of local police nationwide, the Patriot Act, 501 c
3 churches being limited n what they can or can’t preach, free speech zones, etc.)
despite what the skeptics say. Now, the good news is that folks worldwide are
waking up. In the 21st century, we are making history. This is the first time in
human history where so many people are knowing about the new world order in
such a rapid span of time. We‘re one of the first groups of people showing tons
of information so simultaneously that it can impact people globally. My beliefs
are still within me regardless. I still believe in the equality and respect of all
human beings. Life is an interesting journey, yet its whirlwinds will never let my heart to deplete
its love for the truth. I will utilize the ingenuity of my mind to write information, spoke out about
issues pertaining to the current world, and I will never be ashamed of my core convictions at all. I
especially will never apologize for being pro-life, for being pro-gun, for being for national
sovereignty (regardless of what Left gatekeeper Alan Colmes says, our sovereignty is threaten
with NAFTA, CAFTA, and the pro-U.N.'s climate change proposals in the Copenhagen meeting.
Leaders like David Rockefeller have called for the new world order and the one world in his own
Memoirs. Even Dr. Brock Chisolm even called for the world government to happen as a leader in
the WHO), being for individual liberty, and exposing the nefarious agenda of the new world order.
Thanksgiving is a legitimate occurrence that spanned thousands of years. Its components outlines
the unity among the bonds of humanity (in our family, friends, or otherwise), the blessings God
gave us, and the thankfulness we appreciate in the world. In that time, I eat tons of food from
sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, collard greens, and other
foods. I also remember those who don't have the opportunity to eat this food by virtue of being
homeless, extremely poor, etc. That is why charities globally legitimately assist the poor to give
them some food, joy, and confront. We're human beings, so that's our duty to show compassion
and love toward all human being irrespective of their background or orientation. Thanksgiving is
Thanksgiving is biblical too:
celebrated all over the 4 corners of the Earth.
"...Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most
High..." (Psalms 50:14). Psalms 92:1 says that: "...It is a good thing
to give thanks unto the Lord..." Jesus Christ celebrated the Feast of
Dedication as found in John 10:22 to celebrate the purification of
purification of the Temple in Jerusalem. We should be careful not
to have paganism in thanksgiving. I recently found out that the
ancient Romans dedicated their Thanksgiving in early October to
the false goddess of Harvest called Creres. This holiday was called
Cerelia where the word cereal comes from So, this is something we
should be aware of. We should treat Thanksgiving as every other
day without compromise and without paganism (not to use it as a
perversion of the Beast of Tabernacles). The American version of Thanksgiving
(which occurs in the 4th Thursday in November by federal law from 1941) that is famous in its
historical composition is about the story of the Pilgrims and the Native Americans in the area of
Massachusetts. Now, in America, the Pilgrims' encounter with the Native Americans marked the
modern beginning of Thanksgiving for us. The Pilgrims left England for the establishment of
religious freedom since the Church of England or the Anglicans oppressed the Pilgrims.
The Pilgrims accepted much of Calvinistic theology. I agree with some of Calvin's theology and
disagree with other parts of it. The Pilgrims simply wanted the right to worship God according to
the dictates of their own conscience. This freedom of conscience was beyond the demands of a
wicked state church or an oppressive government. This suppression of religious liberty was and
still is common in parts Europe, etc. Even today, Christian preachers have been arrested for
peacefully preaching in the UK, Canada, and even parts of America. Some point to the 1619
Thanksgiving in the Berkeley Hundred (near the James River) in the Virginia colony. After the
massacre of Native Americans in 1622, the colonists left Berkeley Hundreds into Jamestown and
nearby areas. The Pilgrims went into Massachusetts and nearly starved to death during the
winter.
Squanto (who spoke English) assisted the Pilgrims with farming and other tools to enable them to
survive the American environment. The Pilgrims settled in land ruled by the Wampanoag Native
Americans. Squanto himself was a Pawtuxet Native American who lived with the Wampanoag
tribe. Squanto was enslaved in Europe and traveled in England. Therefore, Squanto learned
English. Later, other Native Americans had a Thanksgiving feast with the Pilgrims. One Pilgrim
leader named Bradford issued private property rights among the settlers as a means to effectively
cultivate the landscape. The Native Americans taught the Pilgrims what crops to grow and how
best to grow them. The Native Americans also helped them understand American agriculture and
the ways of the wild game endemic to that part of North America. By the time they held
their first Thanksgiving banquet, the relationship between those original
Pilgrims, Massasoit and his small tribe of Native Americans was one of genuine
trust and friendship. A treaty was made. The Pilgrims have a bigger
Thanksgiving celebration in 1623. Later, we know the rest of the story of this portion of
American history. Many Pilgrims acted unjustly against the Native Americans and other colonists
oppressed the Native Americans (like the 1637 assaulted against 700 men, women, and children
of the Pequot Tribe). That can never be justified at all since terrorism is never an excuse for living
in a new land at all. Hence, Thanksgiving is a day of reflection, relaxation, and renewal. Football
games from the NFL come on during that period of time as well. Native American suffering should
be mourned and never forgotten since they've experienced unjustified treatment by Europeans
and others. In 1782, the Continental Congress issued a proclamation to outline Thanksgiving as a
national Holiday. George Washington issued his 1789 Thanksgiving by saying that:

"...Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty

God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His
protection and favor; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint
committee, requested me "to recommend to the people of the United States a day of
public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful
hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an
opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and
happiness:" Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of
November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that
great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that
is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere
and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this
country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold
mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and
conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and
plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in
which we have been enable to establish constitutions of government for our safety
and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted' for the civil
and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring
and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors
which He has been pleased to confer upon us. And also that we may then unite in
most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of
Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable
us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative
duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all
the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws,
discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns
and nations (especially such as have show kindness to us), and to bless them with
good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of
true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and,
generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone
knows to be best.

Additionally, President Abraham Lincoln issued a Thanksgiving Proclamation. The first
Thanksgiving among the 50 Mayflower Pilgrims and the 100 Native Americans occurred in the fall
of 1621 in Plymouth. Their camaraderie and celebration consisted of food like corn, squash,
beans, barley, beats, wild turkey, and vension. The Pilgrims made their intentions and
motivations clear when they signed America's first covenant, a document called "The
Mayflower Compact" saying that: "We whose names are underwritten . . . Having
undertaken, for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith . . ." Thanskgiving
for me ended in 2009. I had a lot of food. Now, it’s time to live my life. The most important
aspect of Thanksgiving is not consuming food. It’s about the connection you
have with people and the thankfulness that is shown for your existence in the
world (and the existence of other human beings including other things). I‘m
certainly thankful of my family and given the opportunity to express my views. So,
America and Thanksgiving have along history together. The real point of Thanksgiving is focusing
on what God has done for us and what we can do to help others in the world.
