Community Needs & Program Overview Serve Your City (SYC) is a DC-based nonprofit that impacts the health, wellness, and college readiness of District students through innovative athletic activities, tutoring programs, and mentoring.
Program Details Summer 2014 wellness programs for students ages 12-18 include:
Rowing: July 7 th - July 30 th , Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00pm- 5:30 pm at Anacostia Boathouse (SE) Tennis: July 2 nd -August 13 th , Wednesdays from 6:30pm- 8:00pm at Eastern High School Courts (SE)and Saturdays from 9:00am- 11:00am at Randle Highlands (SE) Aquatics: July 1 st - August 14 th , Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm- 7:30pm at Randall Pool (SW)
Partners with DC Parks and Recreation/Office of the State Superintendent of Education Developed three local college chapters at the George Washington University, the University of the District of Columbia, and Montgomery College
