The Mayan Calendar consists of 9 Underworlds. Each Underworld is a cycle of 13
Heavens (7 Days and 6 Nights), during which a new aspect of consciousness is expressed
and developed. These levels of consciousness are: Cellular, Mammalian, Familial, Tribal,
Regional, National, Planetary, Galactic and Universal.

The Galactic Underworld is the eighth Underworld. It is the evolutionary cycle during
which the Divine Feminine rises to take Her place in sacred union with the Divine
Masculine. This alchemical reunion ignites the path toward unity and invites us to open
to vulnerability, receptivity, healing and intuitive awakening. In his book, The Mayan
Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness, Dr. Carl Calleman states that the
Galactic Underworld is about the dissolution of national borders, the occurrence of
divinely guided anarchy and the rise in the presence of the East - that which corresponds
to the right brain hemisphere, intuition, feeling awareness and healing.

The Galactic Underworld offers us the possibility of living synchronistical in the
compatibility of opposites - transcending duality and preparing the way for the global
unity and universal equality brought through the coming Universal Underworld (February
11, 2011 through October 28, 2011).The Galactic Underworld is a time to grieve our
losses and mend the rifts within our own psyches. A time to face our Shadow and release
the individual and collective shame, pain and terror that we have been carrying.

What is this New Paradigm? We see this as a new reality principle for Universal Co-
Creators - the ones we are becoming - and have realized that to enter this New Paradigm
consciously, we need to heal and transform ourselves. We need to release carried shame
and generate our own self-worth. We need to move from individual and collective co-
dependency to interdependency. We need to transform\u2026

Surviving into Living.

The Mayan Calendar offers us a map to align ourselves with the emerging energies that
will support our natural evolution in consciousness that will support our personal and
interpersonal transformations. The next few years are truly a time of great celebration and
preparation for a new world - a New Earth - where we can live our lives more joyfully,
together and in peace.

*Western Civilization, as used here, refers to the current prevailing paradigm that
dominates the collective experience of reality worldwide. It is a statement about the
global sociopolitical, economic and psychological framework around which the
industrialized world revolves, rather than a description of a specific country or global
hemisphere.

At this point I feel it may be in its place to make a jump forward to discuss what is likely
to occur after the two pulses of LIGHT in DAY 4 and DAY 5. In the Fifth NIGHT,
(November 18 2007 \u2013 November 12, 2008, ruled by the energy of Tezcatlipoca, the god
of darkness), we will see the last desperate attempts of the West, and power hierarchies
based on materialism everywhere, to remain in control and strengthen their power in
some new very oppressive way.

If the international monetary system collapses in DAY 5 we may for instance come to see
this replaced by a centralized electronic control over everyone\u2019s economic interactions
(Not to mention control of whereabouts and other things). Except that I simply look upon
it as a phase in a cosmic plan, this is the time period when many of the scenarios
described by conspiracy theoreticians may come true. Regardless of the concrete forms it
may take, this is when everything will be made to keep people in the fold.In the same
way as we, during the Fifth NIGHT of the Planetary Underworld (1932-52), saw an
alliance between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union of Stalin we may well in the
upcoming Fifth NIGHT come to see an alliance between the rulers of China and the
United States \u2013 all in the interest of maintaining a hierarchically ruled world with a focus
on material gains.

And in the same way as the mentioned dictatorships of the Planetary Underworld enjoyed the overwhelming support of their subjects, we may well come to see a strong support by the subjects of the \u201cdemocracy\u201d of the US and the \u201cpopular\u201d regime of China as the Fifth NIGHT begins to rule in the Galactic Underworld.
