Marketing strategy and services in the library: a practical approach

Information has been considered as fourth resources in India; the new era of information age has brought remarkable recognition about the significance of information among the society, since without the information about other resources the value of those resources may not be fully understood. But information explosion has lead to information overload which creates barriers of non- accessible of information, because of lack of awareness. If applying effective communication or effective marketing strategy can change the non \u2013 accessible of information to accessible of information. The marketing concept is essential to any field of knowledge, whether it may be business or services point for achieve their objectives. Here the libraries consider as a service point, for to meeting the users needs and expectations effectively, which is a common objective of any library also. So to achieve this kind of common objectives in the libraries or enable the library activities, services, and resources etc, only by applying effective marketing strategies.
