of society. It has made it impossible to meet human needs.Because production is socialized, the entire working class is involved in the process, and society produces more wealth than ever before. If the ownership of that wealthwas also socialized, instead of being the private property of the few, all workers'needs could be met. Food, housing, education, health care, and a healthyenvironment could be a right for all. This type of system is socialism. In the first stageof socialism, the principle of equal pay for equal work can be immediately realized.Regular recessions, depressions and mass unemployment are the consequences of the capitalist boom and bust cycle. Socialism, liberated from this, is the onlyeconomic system that can unleash the full productive power of humanity andeventually distribute the abundant goods of society to all based on human need. Thisis what Marx described as the transition from pre-history to history as human beingsthemselves-freed from the struggle for individual survival-reconstruct a new societybased on social cooperation and individual development.
What is capitalism?
Wednesday, September 1, 2004By: Caneisha MillsPart of a series on the fundamentals of MarxismKarl Marx Today, there is an enormous economic gap between the rich and the poor. Accordingto the International Labor Organization, "one billion people are unemployed orunderemployed" worldwide. Yet, six of the world's richest people have a combinedwealth of $134.6 billion. These six people have more money than nearly everyoneelse will see in their lifetime. That is the nature of capitalism. But what is capitalism? How can a tiny group of people accumulate vast wealth whileothers cannot pay their bills? How can there be multi-billionaires when people live onthe streets?
Owners vs. workers
In all class societies, be it ancient slavery, feudalism or capitalism, wealth is theproduct of human labor. All of these social systems are based on exploitation. A fewown and control the surplus product produced by the labor of the many. For example, under the slave system in the U.S. before the Civil War, big landownersowned Black workers outright—along with everything they produced. Under thefeudal system of medieval Europe, lords owned the land, while serfs turned over anyextra produce or goods in exchange for the right to live on the land and grow enoughto feed their families.Capitalism is different from these earlier systems in that the owning class—thecapitalists—rule by virtue of owning the means of production, called capital—factories, mines, stores, land, etc. Workers can only live by selling their labor to thecapitalists for wages. Without going to work, selling their labor to the bosses, workerswould starve.Modern capitalists accumulate their vast fortunes by legally owning and profitingfrom the products created by wage workers. The difference between the social

I am so elated to see that I am not alone in my own limited understanding of the situation. For regardless of my limitations, I can still plainly tell when one is screwing over his/her fellow citizen. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this truth. A child can tell when people are mean to one another. One simply must take the time to notice. But once enough people begin to notice, where do we go from there? Not that I particularly expect everyone to wake up one day and say, "Hey, we're ******* each other to death!" But if they did, we are all still basically mindless drones who must be led to water/slaughter. What then? As you may perceive, I hold little hope for humanity.
That is exactly what the Constitution and Bill of Rights was for. To make sure the government did not abuse their positions of power. The people had power under the Constitution. So, not to long after fighting the British for freedom and smaller government. We get these old ass monkeys who decide that the people can't handle any power. These fraudulent people called federalists wiped out the Constitution and went back to Common law, or English law again. They were the elite then and now, read the federalist papers. Highly Unconstitutional but people absolutley cannot be kind or reasonable, nothing is ever enough. Karl Marx was probally one of the most rightous men I have ever had the pleasure to read. People are not capable of his vision of equality. We are not a democracy and we are not capatalists, we are slaves to the rich, Thomas Jefferson called this scenario to a tee. He quotes "if a government is violating the rights of the people with unacceptable suppression, or blatantly violating the Constitution which is now a daily occurence. The offending government needs to be removed. No, It is our duty to push off such a corrupt government." I also must mention socialism is strictly an economic system, not government. Lennon from Russia introduced Communism to Russia which is a form of government like a democracyor monarchy but evrybody is to busy to understand these things. Capitalism sets people up to hurt one another to get to the finish line first. Working to hard backstabbing talking **** anything to screw your fellow man to get ahead. Socialism without Communism everyone is equal and there would be no need for those evils. Lennon distorted Marxists work when he took over Russia. Anyway we will be waiting for foriegn terrorists forever, They are here all right but there white and rich, (I am white). Peace, time for giant change. Like everyone on capital hill peacefully step down and turn themselves in to the authorities for crimes agianst humanity. Federalists are Republicans today so watch your back. Not that democrates are much better they are all crooked.
