MATERIALS
• 830-123 Lion Brand New Cotton-Ease®: Seaspray4 Balls•Large-Eyed Blunt Needles•Additional MaterialsCircular needle size 7 (4.5 mm) 24 in. (61 cm) long 
GAUGE:
16 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Whenyou match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern andthe materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rowsto make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitchesand rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches. Knit Blanket back andforth in rows as if knitting with straight needles.
BLANKET
Cast on 5 sts.
Row 1:
Knit.
Row 2:
K3, yo, k2.
Row 3:
K3, yo, k3.
Row 4:
K3, yo, k to end of row.Rep last row until you have 160 sts on needle.
Next (decrease) row:
K2, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k to end of row.Rep last row until 5 sts remain. Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
