This pattern is very simple to create and is a great
way to use up some scraps while highlighting a
special large-scale print\u2026 all at the same time!

Rotary Cutting Guide:
All seams should be sewn with a scant 1/4\u201d seam
allowance, and all seams should be pressed to
one side. Press after every seam you sew to
ensure your blocks are accurate.Measurements

allowance.

visual of what the
pieces will look like
once they are cut,
they are not to be
used as templates.

Assembly:

1) First, sew together a white \u201cD\u201d and a colored
\u201cD\u201d to make a 2 1/2\u201d square, sewing along the long
side. Be careful when sewing and pressing a seam
on the bias edge lest the fabric stretch.Make 60

blocks.
2) Assemble 15 stars as shown. Your star should measure 6 1/2\u201d x 6 1/2\u201d when assembled.
3) Assemble 7 sashing rows (called Row X) out of 5 purple \u201cC\u201d pieces and 6 green \u201cB\u201d pieces.
4) Assemble 3 block rows (called Row Y) out of 6 purple \u201cC\u201d pieces, 3 star blocks and 2 \u201cA\u201d
pieces.
5) Assemble 3 block rows (called Row Z) out of 6 purple \u201cC\u201d pieces, 2 star blocks and 3 \u201cA\u201d
pieces.
