Staff and their friendly service is great.Parking good.Excellent service – happy with staff.I love my library! This place & the resourcesare great!I reckon that it is a great place and it is quitenear to shops and houses. All things are tidyand child friendly. Seats are comfy and thelibrary is also close to Kumon, so adults canwait here!Carrum Downs is an EXCELLENT LIBRARY.Staff are courteous and helpful. I love mylibrary, the resources are great.Thank you all for your kind comments. We striveto continue to provide the best service and lookforward to your future visits and thank you for yourpositive feedback. Why don’t you get any paper-backs. They areeasier to hold for us oldies. The paperbacks are shelved together with thehardbacks in the fiction, large print and also in thenon-fiction collections. If you are having troublefinding what you are after please ask our friendlyinformation staff for assistance. Thank you foryour feedback. It is very frustrating when you get fined forbooks being overdue, when the after hourschutes are constantly locked.Thank you for taking the time to provide us withyour feedback. The after hours chutes are closedwhile the library is open and closed on publicholidays. To avoid fines did you know that youcan renew your items once via the library website24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Alternately, youcan telephone the library during normal libraryopening hours to renew your items.I appreciate the emails advising of overduebooks, but a reminder a couple of days priorwould be even more helpful. We are currently working on an email reminderthat will give two days notice before your libraryitems are due. Thank you for your feedback.I believe the CD collection is excellent andreceive excellent service at all times. We hope you continue to enjoy our CD collectionand your future visits to the library.I feel that paper-back books should have callnumbers and that patrons should be able toreserve them.Thank you for your suggestion. Many of ourpaperbacks do have call numbers and are shelvedwith the fiction and non-fiction collections.Could there please be monitoring of the vocallevel at the public computers? Whenever Iam here, there is one individual who is totallyloud and annoying.Staff keep an eye and ear on the activity at thepublic computers. If there is a persistent problem, please speak to one of our staff members at thetime. Are staff aware that some young peoplecancel others bookings before the 15 minutesleeway is up by simply turning the computeroff? Then that person simply logs themselveson. I witnessed this yet again today.Thank you for your information. In future, if yousee this sort of inappropriate behaviour happeningin the library, please make a library staff memberaware. The staff are able to take action, if it isimmediately reported to them.
