Come all, and as the Feast Day of
Christs Prize-winning martyr is
observed with solemnity, let us now
rejoice together in heightened
Spiritual Joy, and with Jubilation let
us celebrate. For suffering
Martyrdom, she struck down the
high-mindedness of tyrant rulers, by
the All Holy Spirits Might; beating
them she raised a great trophy of
Victory. Therefore, let us indeed
extol with songs that acclaim the
fame, as we importune Christ, and
beseech Him so that His Great Mercy
be granted to the world.
Praise Him with tuneful cymbals!
Praise Him with loud cymbals! Let
everything that has breath praise
the Lord!
O Martyr, inside Thy casket were
placed the Definitions of the Pious
and the heretics. The one, which the
Fathers published correctly, being
Inspired from Above, remained there
cradled in Thine arms; Thou
trampled the other one, which
belonged to the heretics, whom you
embarrassed for being false and
opposed to God. Therefore all of us,
whom the Byzantine Hierarch
gathered together on this day,
devotedly extol Thee, and in the
solemn observance of Thy Memorial,
we rejoice. Hence, pray to our
Saviour and beseech Him that His
Great Mercy be granted to the world.

Kyrie.
O D E 1
I shall open my mouth and the Spirit
will inspire it, and I shall utter the
words of my song to the Queen and
Mother: I shall be seen radiantly
keeping Feast and JOYFULLY
PRAISING HER MIRACLES
O D E 3
O Mother of God, Thou living and
plentiful Fount, grant strength to
those united in Spiritual Fellowship,
who sing Hymns of Praise to
Thee: and in Thy Divine Glory grant
them Crowns of Glory.
O D E 4
Perceiving the Unsearchable Purpose of
God concerning Thine Incarnation
from a Virgin, O Most High, the
Prophet Habakkuk cried: Glory to
Thy Power, O Lord!

At that time, a great crowd followed
(our Lord) Jesus and thronged Him.
And a certain woman had a flow of
blood for twelve years, and had
suffered many things from many
Physcians and had spent all that she
had.
And none of them cured her but she
grew worse.
When she heard about Jesus, she went
up behind Him in the crowd and
touched His garment.
For she said: If only may tough His
garment I shall be made well.
And immediately the fountain of her
blood was dried up, and she felt in
her body that she was healed of the
affliction.
And perceiving in Himself that Power
had gone forth from Him, Jesus
immediately turned about in the
crowd and asked: Who touched My
garments?
And His Disciples said to Him: Thou
seest the crowd pressing around
Thee, and yet Thou ask: Who
touched Me?
And He looked around to see who had
done so.
The Woman, knowing what had been
done to her, went in fear and
trembling, and fell down before Him,
and told Him the whole Truth.
And He said to her: Daughter, thy
Faith has made thee well. Go in
Peace, and be Healed of thine
affliction!

The Virgin and Victorious Martyr stood
at the right Hand of our Saviour, and
She was decked in the invincibility of
Virtue and adorned with the Oil of
Purity and the Blood of the Contest.
Carrying her Lamp, with exultant Joy
she called out to Him: I have run
after Thee for the fragrance of Thy
Myrrh, O Christ God, for I am
wounded with Thy Love. Do not
leave me, O Heavenly Bridegroom!
At her Entreaties, O Almighty
Saviour, send down to us Thy

What should one marvel at first: Thy
Martyric contests and
accomplishments? Or Thy Virginity
and Blameless Life? Thou gladdened
the Father by wedding the Son and
adorning Thyself by the Holy Spirit.
Who is capable of lauding these
things? Who can tell of the many
Virtues that shine all around Thee
and which never fade? Like the sun,
Thou rose from the East out of the
