ang tatlong babae at ilang kasapi

hindi nakisuntok o nakipalo ngunit
nanood habang pinahihirapan ng
masters ng samahan si Servando
at tatlong iba pang neophyte.
Sinabi kahapon ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na inihahanda nito ang reklamo laban
sa 20 sangkot sa hazing noong
Hunyo 28 na nauwi sa pagkamatay ni Servando, mag-aaral ng De
La Salle-College of St. Benilde.
Itinakda ang pagsasampa ng kaso ngayong Biyernes matapos
makuha ng NBI ang dagdag na pahayag ni Jomar Pajarito, isa sa mga
suspek at caretaker ng bahay sa
Palanan, Makati City, kung saan ginawa ang pagpapahirap sa biktima.

Naunang sinabi ni Pajarito na
hindi siya kasama sa nagpahirap

nagpakain ng sili at tsokolate ang
mga neophyte upang hindi ito himatayin.

TS RARE even in the NBA that the defining moment of a championship is characterized by a
last few ticks defensive gem ( as in John
Havliceks crucial interception off Gar Heard or a
Michael Jordans cunning steal off Karl Malone).

But a defensive gem-no,

make that two in the dying
seconds--- was the highlight of
San Mig Coffee Makers grandslam-making win over a tough,
fighting Rain or Shine squad in
the final game of their memorable best of five series for the
2014 PBA Governors Cup the
other night at the jampacked
Araneta Colesium.
And those gems were pulled
by the littlest guy on San Migs
rotation, Mark Barroca who

did those against the Best Import awardee no less, Arizona

Reid who towered over him by
a head.
Barroca took it upon himself
to stop ROS final offensive and
try for an overtime in the last
less than ten seconds of the
game after bungling his chance
to emerge as instant hero by
missing on two free throws off
a ROS foul.
Actually, earlier, James Yap
had the chance to ice the win

for San Mig when he was

awarded two shots off a foul in
a rebound play. But James succumbed to the pressure and
bungled both charities which
would have given his team an
almost insurmountable lead.
Ironically, it was James who
tallied what turned out as the
final score. 92-89 by banging
the last two of his game high
29 points in the final 1:29 of
the game.
After a few more action
came Barrocas chance to be
hero but he too muffed his free
shots.
But Barroca proved that his
heart is bigger than Araneta that
night. In grim determination to
make up for his earlier misses at
the stripe, Barroca turned to his
pesky defensive self.

planned inbound to Reid andmanaged to tap it away and
out, chopping off precious seconds on ROS. In the resumption of the play, after another
timeout by ROS, Mark was at
it again bothering Reid as he
aimed for a tying triple that
went wide at the buzzer sending San Mig and its hordes to
