His dadalways beat’s up Oliver’s mom whenever he was drunk and when they would fight.On one Saturday evening Oliver’s dad slapped her dead with a very sharp and long scale.Oliver stood very pale and upset and he would just reduce to tears. “Mom! Why mom!Don’t leave me please! Cried Oliver His dad ran away but he soon got into jail.He sat all alone those day’s and very lonely and quiet. His relatives sent for a step mother for company. The only problem was he never spoke a word. He didn’t say anything whenhis step mother, Marylyn came. Oliver just stared at his new mother and sat in onecorner.He sat in a corner and put his arm around his legs and his head down.“Hello Oliver. I’m your new mother. I’m here to take care of you and love you dear Oliver.Finally Oliver said a word,” You promise you won’t leave me? You promise don’t ever leave me… mom”Marylyn hugged Oliver and kissed his forehead,” I promise dear, I won’t leave you. I willdo the best that I can to be a perfect mother to you.” This made Oliver very happy andnever was he sad. He somehow forgot all about his real mother and somehow this madeher jealous. Oliver was tucked into his bad by Marylyn and she kept a glass of water beside his bed.“Mom, can you sleep with me tonight? Please? I don’t want to sleep without you.” SaidOliver.“Your a big boy Oliver, well if that’s what you want then, I’ll sleep with you everynight.” Said Marylyn. With this it made Oliver’s real mom even more jealous than ever.Marylyn felt his mom’s presence but she just ignored it. Oliver then showed picture’s of his real mom to Marylyn.“She’s very beautiful you know? She read’s me story book’s everyday and cook’s me myfavorite dish.” Said Oliver sadly flipping the pictures.Marylyn felt sorry for Oliver and his real mom. And so she comforted him, with hugs didthe same thing what his real mother treated him.When Oliver and Marylyn came home from playing football the house was all a mess.And in the living room it was carved in bold letters:“HE’S MINE! MINE! OLIVER’S MINE!!”
