Come on, have you actually read the report? Did you even understand it? Have you evaluated it? The scientific theories used in these types of reports are common knowledge (if you are an environmental scientist/ psychologist) ....
Aside from that, the more simple behavioural theories are incomplete but empirically testable, and the more complex ones are more complete but empirically untestable, so either way this dichotomy means it would be some time before this problem is resolved and on top of that, …
…if you actually read the theories and looked at the evidence you would know that it takes more than a bunch of "Guidelines" to actually change behaviour. It takes POLICY and changing SOCIAL NORMS and oh, T I M E. …
Last thing, the behaviours that the government are trying to change are unsustainable ones that are damaging for the environment and not to hinder people’s abilities to function normally, or to take away “liberties”. Bear in mind we are the ones who take liberties with the environment we live in!
