I have the same issue with Oracle Application R12 12.1.

1, I've successfuly insta

lled R12 on win xp. and when I restart the machine I have got the error message
"" 500 Internel Error Server"
'Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descri
ptors do not allow for including it in this response.'
With Badrane & Mashkur we resolved the issue, and in the following the steps :
1 - I modified the hots file like
old entry : 192.168.1.20 wst1.domaine.com #Prod1
new entry : 192.168.1.20 wst1 # prod1
2 - Run autoconfig 'Database Tier' and 'Appl Tier'
3 - Bounce Apache 'Stop & start'
4 - Finally, Stop & Start servies.
Enter the URL like 'http://host.domaine.com:port/ the page login appears and I c
an Log into the application.
