Petition Instructions
Thank you for your interest in stopping the RFID. Please use this to educate your neighbors,colleagues, friends, and family about the dangers of the RFID-otherwise known as the “Real ID.”Included is a copy of the petition, affidavit of circulator, and a cover letter to send to yourRepresentative. It's simple, just follow these steps:1. Print the cover letter, a copy of the petition, and the affidavit of circulator.2. Make extra copies of the pages to sign, but you only need one affidavit and one cover letter.3. Collect signatures!4. Count the signatures and complete the affidavit of circulator, including notary.5. Send the signatures, your affidavit of circulator, and cover letter to the Representative inWashington D.C. for your State.(You can find their mailing address at https://forms.house.gov/wyr/welcome.shtml

Please help get other people involved by printing a packet (complete with cover letter, affidavit,and signature pages) and giving them to people in your community. The
only
way that we can make adifference is to get thousands of people collecting signatures nation-wide.Ideas to help get people involved are:
 
Hand out petition packets along with “Freedom to Fascism” during the Great American Strikeon April 15, 2008.
 
Collect signatures at Peaceful protest locations on April 15.
 
Give petition packets to everyone that you know!
 
Hold/post signs that explain that the RFID (AKA “Real ID”) is dangerous.
 
Talk to local activists and political/religious figures in your community.Thank you again for your concern regarding the RFID, otherwise known as the “Real ID.”Together we can make an impact, but only if we remain Peaceful and quickly educate millions of people.The only way to quickly educate that many people is to spread this to EVERYONE you know,and encourage them to spread it to everyone they know. Petition Against the Real ID-RFIDMany people are becoming aware of the growing concern of the national ID called the Real ID.The Real ID will include a radio-frequency based identification (RFID) system that will database ALLof your personal records. This will include personal information such as your address, bankinginformation, and medical history.Not only is the Real ID unConstitutional (according the the Tenth Amendment that states, “Thepowers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, arereserved to the States respectively, or the the people.”), but the RFID included will pose many dangers.Some of these dangers include, but are not limited to the following:

Your personal information (banking, medical, and other) will NOT be encrypted. This allowsanyone with an RF receiver to see your deeply personal records.
●
There are no laws preventing businesses from collecting/databasing these personal records.
●
There are no security-clearance requirements to protect law-abiding citizens from having toshare their information with criminals when making age-restricted purchases.
●
By centralizing our records, it will make it easier for someone to steal ALL of our personalinformation through a variety of means. These include, but are not limited to stealing our card,hacking the computers the information is stored on, and businesses databasing the informationunsecured.For a variety of reasons, We the People of the United States of America hereby petition our state andnational legislature to reject the plans for the RFID.
