*Origins

Beginnings (1990 - 1992)

The origins of the band back to 1982] when Billie Joe and Mike, two boys ten years
of Rodeo met and became friends .

*In 1990, the band officially changed its name to Green Day .
*The group's fourth album, Insomniac, was recorded in six weeks between July and
August 1995 and was released in October of that year.

*Started recording from scratch, looking for positions in other styles, from salsa
playing up versions of Christmas carols.
