Description

This Encyclical of the Eastern Patriarchs, issued in reply to the Epistle of Pope Pius IX, "to the Easterns," is intended to to criticize the innovations of the Roman Catholic Church which has caused it to deviate from Christianity and the Orthodox Church.

This publication aims, moreover, to remind the Orthodox reader of the doctrinal differences that keep Rome separated from the Church and to prevent him from falling victim to the Propaganda.

Finally, concerning the Papal visit to the Phanar in 2006, the Ecumenical Patriarchate should consider this ancient Encyclical, send it to Rome, and divorce the Patriarchate from the ecumenical movement and all of its gatherings.
