Dr. Tony Fields, HQCA Board Chair.

John Vogelzang brings executive healthcare leadership experience to the HQCA Board of Directors, as
well as governance experience from a variety of other boards and committees, and we are confident in
his ability to fulfill his role as an HQCA Board Member. Mr. Vogelzang was appointed to the HQCA Board
in December 2013. He has followed the HQCAs expense policy rules, which are consistent with other
public boards and the Government of Alberta, and he will continue to do so in the future.
