The Christian is bred by the Word and must be fed by it. William Gurnall
Genesis 22:7-8 "Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, "My father!" And he said,
"Here I am, my son." And he said, "Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for
the burnt offering?" 8 Abraham said, "God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt
offering, my son." So the two of them walked on together."
Psalm 67:3-4 "Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. 4 Let the
nations be glad and sing for joy; For You will judge the peoples with uprightness And guide
the nations on the earth. Selah."
Memory Verse
1 Peter 1:18-19: knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or
gold from your f utile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood,
as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

Reasons to Reflect on Baptism #12. Baptism Proclaims that the Cleansing We Need is
Spiritual. If the water used in baptism is an emblem for the Holy Spirit, it follows that the
cleansing we need is a spiritual cleansing, in which the Spirit brings about a washing of
regeneration and renewal in us. "He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have
done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and
renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our
Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope
of eternal life." (Titus 3:57) http://gopcmodestortp.blogspot.com.
