    Responses
    An opening bid of 1NT shows a balanced hand with 12-14 points. It is a limit bid.
    Balanced has a special meaning in Bridge which is:
    No void
    No singleton
    Not more than one doubleton
    Responder is in charge of the auction following an opening bid of 1NT
    With a combined 25 or more points Bid Game
    A bid of 2NT over partners opening 1NT asks partner to bid 3NT with a maximum
