Market Review
What is really happening to the value of your Property?
The value of your property is now 13.4% higher than this time last year. The average property price across
England & Wales is 172,011, whereas the average property in Enfield costs 296,012, an uplift of 72.1%.
Popular right now: EN1 & EN2 continue to be very popular with both postcodes benefitting from the
London Ripple Affect, meaning applicants from more central locations looking to Enfield for its good
schools, transport links and housing stock. The family house market has gone from strength to
strength this year, with record breaking prices achieved. Another area experiencing a surge in demand
is the 2 bedroom flat/apartment market, with a number of young professionals entering the market
place, often resulting in premium sale prices being agreed.

Summer 2014 Edition
This month we pitch Enfield against our westerly neighbours Barnet. The statistics demonstrate how
Enfield continues to provide outstanding value for money, with seemingly reasonable property prices
when compared to our neighbours, being complimented by our wealth of schools and good local
amenities. Interestingly, to our East, Waltham Forest has enjoyed the steepest 12-month price rise of
any London Borough, increasing a staggering 28%. Positioned between a rapidly emerging market and
another very established market, Enfield is well placed for further growth, although the property experts
at Baker and Chase expect this to be at a far slower and steadier pace throughout the last half of 2014.
