ITI has no power which candidates initially belief,
after becoming ITO he has a few marginal powers
though exercise after taking permission from
Assistant Commissioner.
The Condition of AEO is same as ITI
Examiner gains authority from his very first day.
The Chatak life people talk about is only in SI in
CBI. Similar to State Government police job. After a
few time a few lazy people founds this job quite
headache. Good for those who really wants
headache. Good job for daring people.
When assistant takes 2 promotions, it is equal to 3
promotion of Inspector post.
Mostly Preventive Officer tries to switch their job
after joining.
Risk factors outweigh money consideration in
Preventive Officer, ITI.
No money in AEO.
No more corruption at Inspector level in Income Tax
as It was earlier used to be. Those who do at this
level are being caught owing to ethical conduct by
the colleagues who are not on money earning sit.
In excise a only a few gets chance to earn money
not everyone.
There is no difference between State Government
Police Job, Delhi Police or SI in CBI.
Overall the best post after considering these above
factors is Assistant in CSS. This is the best Grade-B
post of All. This post is for those who wanted to give
the credit of their success to minister though ready
to bear the blame e.g. like Missing Coal-Scam Files.
Hardly anything is happened in this country, who files
is not gone under the signature of Dealing hand
means Assistant. Whatever note or drafts he puts,
rarely modifies at subsequent level. Very big role in
policy making.
In state Governments:-These Assistant post is known
as Review Officer at state level. At few other place
Section Officer or Assistant Section Officer.
The Designation of Assistant in CSS particularly is
going to change as a Secretariat Officer. May other
secretariat services follow this Nomenclature, Once
CSS adopts it.
My own preference considering the all above factor. I
am supposing that I am daring, risk taking and

While choosing job, I personally feel, Candidates
should decide first whether they are interested in
secretariat job or executive. If they are interested in
secretariat they should go for Assistant post first and
Assistant in CSS specifically. If they like Executive
post, they should prefer Inspector Post and Examiner
specifically. If really adventurous then SI in CBI only.
Job preference depends upon individual. Every
individual should opt his preferable post according to
his liking. Dont decide what others say. Try to know
one liking. If Ones take decision on preference of job
after consulting others with preferring his own liking,
afterwards joining they start getting dissatisfied with
their job.
Over all the jobs in SSC-CGL are the few best jobs in
India. And a few lucky guys able to grab it,
