CALL TO WORSHIP Hymn of praise
MINISTER 7:30 a.m.
Beautiful are the WORKS of God!
Great Is Thy Faithfulness
CONGREGATION
Beautiful also are the SKINS of my people! Verse I
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my father,
MINISTER
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Beautiful is the MIND of God!
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not,
CONGREGATION As Thou has been Thou for ever wilt be.
Beautiful also are the HOPES of my people!
MINISTER
Chorus
Beautiful is the HEART of God!
Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
CONGREGATION
Beautiful also are the SOULS of my people!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided,
MINISTER
God made the heavens and the earth! Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
CONGREGATION
And my people built the pyramids and the world’s Verse II
first civilizations. Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
MINISTER
God made the Seven Seas! Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
CONGREGATION
And my people were the first to sail them! (Repeat Chorus)
MINISTER
God made us; and God made all nations which dwell
Verse III
on the face of the earth! Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
CONGREGATION
It is He that hath made us and not we ourselves!
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
MINISTER
With His blood He has saved us. By His Power He (Repeat Chorus)
has raised us!
CONGREGATION
To God be the glory for the things He has done!
MINISTER
And always remember, my Father’s children, that
God is GOOD…
CONGREGATION
ALL THE TIME!
TOGETHER
This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.

stewardship
STEWARDSHIP IS SERVICE
A
teacher challenged an elder saying, “You are always
saying that God provides the means for those who do
His work. Where do I find that in the Bible?”
The elder took a few days to research, then reported to
the teacher as follows: “That saying is from the Bible, not a
quotation, and I most earnestly believe in it. It derives from
passages such as, “I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me.”
The search was rewarding, because it reminded me that
service to God is a giving of self.
It reminded me that service to our church is the highest
order of worship. It reminded me that service to God and our
fellow man is the most sincere expression of our love of God.
Service is the most instructive way of teaching the world,
because we are teaching by example. Service is the most
persuasive form of evangelism, because we bring the hand of
God to the untaught. We are the hands, the eyes and the ears
of God.
Service is the most eloquent witness to God because we
demonstrate that God is in our lives, rather than merely
saying words. Directing our energy toward service to God
helps us to focus on our purpose in life.
