Lions usually live in groups of 10 - 15 animals called prides.

Lions live in grasslands and plains. Their tawny-colored coats act as camouflage
In the wild, lions live for an average of 12 - 16 years. They live up to 25 years in captivity.

Lions are the second largest big cat species in the world (behind tigers).
Lions love relaxing. Lions are the laziest of the big cats, spending 16-20 hours of the day sleeping or resting.
