INQUIRY CLASSES BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER 
foranyone interested in learning more about the Catholicfaith or those who have been away for awhile. If youknow anyone who is searching or has questions, bringthem to our first session on September 17 in the PaulistCenter at 7 PM. Many people may notknow they arewelcome to come and a personal invitation is the mostreassuring way to help them take this first step.
SAVE THE DATEPARISH PICNIC
The parish picnic will be on Sunday, September 7 afterthe 9:30am Mass.Volunteers needed to help set up, teardown, serve, grill & clean up. Many hands make light thework.Sign up sheets on the back counters or call theoffice.

Ourpantry is very low.Items needed: Soups, peanutbutter, rice, noodles/pasta, canned meats, vegetables,fruits, Cup o’ Noodles, & anynon-perishable food itemsas well as toiletry items: toothpaste, toothbrushes,combs, brushes, deodorant, shampoo, soaps.Bringyour donations and drop themin the cans in the churchfoyer or bring them by the office.

OUR SUNDAY Pre-school
 
(
ages 4-5) will begin on Sept. 21 during the 9:30 Liturgy. Thank you to the volunteer teachers who have so generously returned again this year: Cynthia Wong, Jeremy Thomas, Kerry-Lynne Brown, Lori Farrell/Quinland Thompson and Therese Devoe. We are still looking for teachers on the 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month for the Children's Liturgy of the Word (grades 1-5). This program is 20 minutes each Sunday and is meant to help the children understand the Scripture Readings on their particular level of development. Please consider this as YOUR volunteer opportunity---serving one Sunday a month. We will have a training session on Saturday, September 6. Please contact Barbara Harrison or Cynthia Wong.
