1.0 DEFINITIONS
The following definitions apply throughout this constitution and associated by-laws:
 
“AOFC”
means the Asian Oceania Floorball Confederation
 
"Club”
means the Wellington Floorball Club
 
“NZFF”
means the New Zealand Floorball Federation Incorporated, the National bodyresponsible for Floorball.
 
“IFF”
means the International Floorball Federation, the World body responsible forFloorball.
 
"Committee"
or
"General Committee"
means the committee of the Club as definedin section 12.
 
"Member"
or
"Ordinary Member"
means a member of the Club as defined in section9.
 
"Committee Member"
means a Club Member elected to a position on the GeneralCommittee as specified in section 12.
 
“Present at Meeting”
means in person, by proxy or by telephone/electronicattendance
 
"President", "Vice President”, "Secretary"
and
"Treasurer"
mean specificCommittee Members as specified in section 12 with specific duties as detailed in thisconstitution and associated by-laws.
 
“Senior Players”
,
Junior Players”, “Casual Social”, “Social”, “Corporate”,“School”, “Life”
and “
Associates”
are defined and documented annually by theGeneral Committee when setting the annual membership fees and structure
2.0 INTERPRETATION
2.1 This constitution and associated by-laws should be interpreted using the generallyaccepted meanings of all words and phrases.2.2 Any interpretation must be consistent with and comply with the legal requirementsspecified by the SCNZ, its associated acts and any other relevant government body oracts. In particular the Club is an incorporated body and is subject to the IncorporatedSocieties Act 1908 (the Act).2.3 Any discrepancies, conflicts, omissions, ambiguities, clarifications or interpretationsshall be resolved by the Committee, subject to clauses 2.1 and 2.2. Any suchdetermination must be passed at a Committee Meeting and will be binding immediatelyon all Members of the Club. A determination may be set aside at either a GeneralMeeting of the Club or at a subsequent Committee Meeting.
