is a simple candlelight service or prayer and meditation. The prayer is primarily ex- pressed through the repetition of several simplemusical lyrics based on biblical passages and psalms. The repetition of these mantra-like mu-sical phrases is to assist the participants in cen-tering their thoughts on God and is interspersedwith periods of silence.
Christ is the center
ofthe service and worship- pers are invited to sing, hum, speak or pray si-lently during the music. Young people worldwide have been especially influenced by Taizeas they seek a more intimate relationship withthe Lord Jesus.Taize services will be held at
