Key words: TGT type, the result of social Subject, natural resources Background of the research is the score of social subject are low It caused by the students are passive and the ability to memorize the social material are less. This situation it caused by the methode that used by the teachers still conventional, which is the teachers prepares and talkactive to explain the concepts of materials social subject, and the other hand the students get the difficulties to reserve the materials. This situation make the result of social subject are less because the students only hearing and writing the materials that explained by the techers. The research problems are 1) Is the application of TGT type can improve the result of social subject in the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus?; dan 2) Is the application of TGT type can improve the ability of the teachers to manage teaching learning process in social subject of the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus?. The Objective of this research are : 1) To describe the application TGT type of cooperative learning materials type can improve the result of social subject in the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus; dan 2) To describe the application TGT type of cooperative learning materials type can improve the ability of the teachers to manage teaching learning process in social subject of the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus. ) type of cooperative methode is learning methode which to set the students in a small group. In cooperative leaarning process each member of group look for the result that give advantages for their group, So cooperative learning is use the small group in teaching learning process that give possibility the students to study together to maximize the result of their study. The steps of inquiry methode of this research are problems orientation, make the research problems, give the hypothesis, doing the experiment, analyze the data and make the conclusion. The result of the study is the ability that have by the students after teaching learning process. Social subject can be define the combination of several subjects. The observation of this research held in SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus November 2013 until April 2014. The subject of this research is 23 students, consist of 13 men, and 10 women. Natural resources is everything that can be use and give the advantages in the condition that we find it. The design of this classroom action research comes from Kemmis and Taggartconsist of two cycles. In every cycle consist of: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting.
