Key words: TGT type, the result of social Subject, natural resources Background of the research is the score of social subject are low It caused  by the students are passive and the ability to memorize the social material are less. This situation it caused by the methode that used by the teachers still conventional, which is the teachers prepares and talkactive to explain the concepts of materials social subject, and the other hand the students get the difficulties to reserve the materials. This situation make the result of social subject are less  because the students only hearing and writing the materials that explained by the techers. The research problems are 1) Is the application of TGT type can improve the result of social subject in the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus?; dan 2) Is the application of TGT type can improve the ability of the teachers to manage teaching learning process in social subject of the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus?. The Objective of this research are : 1) To describe the application TGT type of cooperative learning materials type can improve the result of social subject in the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus; dan 2) To describe the application TGT type of cooperative learning materials type can improve the ability of the teachers to manage teaching learning process in social subject of the Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus. TGT (
Team Game Tournament 
) type of cooperative methode is learning methode which to set the students in a small group. In cooperative leaarning  process each member of group look for the result that give advantages for their group, So cooperative learning is use the small group in teaching learning process that give possibility the students to study together to maximize the result of their study. The steps of inquiry methode of this research are problems orientation, make the research problems, give the hypothesis, doing the experiment, analyze the data and make the conclusion. The result of the study is the ability that have  by the students after teaching learning process. Social subject can be define the combination of several subjects. The observation of this research held in SD  Negeri 1 Singocandi Kudus November 2013 until April 2014. The subject of this research is 23 students, consist of 13 men, and 10 women. Natural resources is everything that can be use and give the advantages in the condition that we find it. The design of this classroom action research comes from Kemmis and Taggartconsist of two cycles. In every cycle consist of: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This research use two variable those are TGT type as
 
independent variable and result of social subject as dependent variable. The data collections that used are observation, test, and documentation. The instrument that used in this research are observatiaon guidance and the test. This classrom action research is use TGT (
Team Game Tournament 
) methode, before the teachers apply this methode the precentage of the score in social subject is 43%, after the teacher apply TGT learning model that used question and answer game from worksheet can improve the precentageof the result to be 56% in cycle I, and 79% in cycle II. The avarage score in pra cycle is 65,01, in cycle I 66,52, and in the cycle II avarage score of social subject is 76,34. The conclusion of this research are use TGT (
Team Game Tournament 
) methode can improve the result of the study in social subject and improve the teachers learning management. Suggestion of this research are: the students suggest to follow the learning process hardly so the students can understand of social subject that explained by the teachers, teamwork is needed and active to give the opinion. The teachers suggest to choose the materials that suitable with TGT (
Team Game Tournament 
) characteristic, so the teachers can use the time effectively and doing preparation before teach the students.

Kata kunci: model TGT, hasil belajar IPS, sumber daya alam Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil belajar IPS siswa yang rendah, dikarenakan siswa pasif dan daya ingatnya cenderung kurang ketika mempelajari IPS kondisi siswa yang seperti ini disebabkan ketika proses pembelajaran guru masih bersifat konfensional dengan metode ceramah, dimana guru yang aktif mempersiapkan dan menyampaikan konsep materi IPS, sedangkan siswa tidak tahu bagaimana memahami materi tersebut. Hari ini menyebabkan hasil belajar IPS siswa rendah karena aktifitas belajar siswa sebatas mendengarkan dan menulis materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Rumusan masalah dlam penelitian ini adalah 1) Apakah penerapan model pembelajaran model TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD negeri 1 singocandi kudus?; dan 2) Apakah penerapan model TGT dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas IV SD negeri 1 singocandi kudus?. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan model  pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD negeri 1 singocandi kudus; dan 2) Mendeskripsikan penerapan model TGT dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran IPS  pada siswa kelas IV SD negeri 1 singocandi kudus. Metode kooperatif tipe TGT (team Game Tournamen) adalah model  pembelajaran yang menempatkan siswa dalam kelompok kecil. Dalam proses  pembelajaran kooperatif setiap anggota kelompok mencari hasil yang mengutungkan kelompoknya, sehingga belajar kooperatif adalah pemanfaatan kelompok kecil dengan pengajaran yang memungkinkan siswa berkerja bersama untuk memaksimalkan belajar mereka dan anggotanya dalam kelompok tersebut. Langkah-langkah metode inkuiri dalam penelitian ini adalah orientasi masalah, meluruskan masalah, memberikan jawaban sementara, melakukan percobaan menganalisis data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil belajar adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa setelah mengalami proses pembelajaran. IPS merupakan hasil kombinasi atau perpaduan dari sejumlah mata pelajaran atau didiplin ilmu. Penelitian ini di adakan di SD Negeri 1 singocandi kudus pada bulan november 2013 sampai april 2014 subjek penilitian ini adalah 23 siswa terdiri, dari 13 siswa  putra dan 10 siswa putri. Sumber daya alam adalah sesuatu yang berguna dan mempunayai nilai di dalam kondisi di mana kita menemukannya.
