One of the key elements that is often missing in a music conference arelocal and regional businesses that directly impact the local music industry. This is an opportunity to incorporate many of those businesses whereinthey have a chance to display their products and services as vendors.Keeping in mind that some companies are small entrepreneurial entitiesrun by a few or often one person. Any vending fees should be kept to aminimum and/or exchanged for marketing of the event to their coreaudience. b.

The real goal is to drive foot traffic and attendance to the event, so more people have the ability to network, learn about the music industry and howyour schools programs will help them achieve their goals for long-termsuccess in business.

Jawar, a Music and Technology Conference is a great idea! You say there is a "...void in the Music Industry Community." I would take that a step further and be so bold as to say there is a significant void in promoting the Arts in general to our young people of all ages...and that is a real shame. Never before in history has it been more vital to promote the Arts and music technology.

Part TWO: Music and the Arts have the capacity to inspire, inform, challenge, challenge, raise self-esteem, provide pleasure and allow for self expression. It's well past time to "...merge old fashion work ethic and service to others with new media and technology." Good luck with that and do keep us posted. @onlinedesign
