I had a feeling this would cause some controversy but thanks to everyone who commented anyway :) And I sincerely hope Sarita's friend starts feeling better soon :/ x

It was not my intent for people to argue over a simple poem... It's only my opinion about some certain religious people who seem to hate everything that isn't holy. I wouldn't get all touchy feely if someone wrote a poem against atheists.

O fcourse you did, it was your intent ... I've done just that and recently.

sorry,. i dint mean to contact and leave but a friend of mine is in a bad way. i know some of you pray and some of you dont but the ones who do.. could you please send up prayers for a good person who is at the end of their rope and feels like dying? can you please just do that for me? ( no its not me!!) like right now?

ok ,if she won't play ,lets just make something up ....you start

Just trying to find out what the frell Sarita's point is. Is this an example of anti-dialog?

yeah , I haven't even said anything yet ,Kenosis ,you'd have to agree with this statement ... lol :)

Confusion ... What who said?

sure not everyone is the same ,but I still stand in essence by what I have said ,it won't be a popular view ,but it comes from an honest place ,so we are at least on the same page as far as that goes

you could be onto something ..... Lol :)

In that case, I begin to suspect that "hypocrisy is just a little bit co-dependent!

well I had a word with the word hypocrisy and asked if i could use it that way ,hypocrisy said it really sincerely didn't mind ,but I knew it was pretending ....see what it's like

All I can say is that I don't necessarily disagree with your thought, but I do disagree with the way you are torturing the poor word "hypocrisy" to say it.

people create dogma, one and the same in my view ,but its good to disagree :)

Hypocrisy is outwardly voicing beliefs, while inwardly not assenting to them. Dogmas can't do this, only people. If somewhere were to espouse a dogma and, at the same time live in concord withtese dogmas, then they might be mistaken, but not hypocrites. Don't blame the moral fault on the dogmas when in it the insincerity of people that is at issue. Words are words, actions are actions.

OK ... first thing is, I disagree with LIng ... It shows the hypocrisy of people, not dogma. Second, to Killola ... don't be sorry for offending (in your description) that takes some of the bite away.

I really like this ,it has spirit and depth ,it also highlights how much hypocrisy there is in religious dogma ,which is perhaps why is has such wide human appeal

Hypocrisy ... moi? ... :D

You didn't offend me - I admire your uncompromising tone.
