Book 1 Aro and Jane
Preface....
Jane stared at her reflection in the mirror. The mirroritself was tall, arched. It was placed to assure touriststhat they were not vampires. A lie. The reflection,however was much more interesting. Jane was 5’1; shehad been in her early teens when she had beenchanged. Combine that with the multiple layers of clothing, sunny blonde hair pulled into a ponytail, andbig eyes-Jane gave Raggedy Anne a run for her money. Jane wished Aro had waited. Just 5 or 6 years. Then shewould be as beautiful as Chelsea. Then Aro would fall inlove with her. Jane loved Aro. She loved his baby-blue footsies, hislove for karaoke, and how he would practice the samesong over and over again on rock band until he got aperfect score. She loved how he loved her talent, howhe selected her among millions to become immortal.She loved how he always knew which human she wouldlike to eat best. Jane turned away from her appearance. No tears couldfall. Trapped in a body of a young girl yet over athousand years old. 5 more years, and she would havebeen with Aro.Caius walked past Jane’s room and paused. He walkedin, and found Jane facing away from a mirror in herroom. Marcus passed by and sensed Jane’s pain.Marcus and Caius talked for a long time. Finally, theycame up with a solution.
Caius quickly ran back to his room. He searched hisbaby pink room for the essentials. Quickly he pulled outwhat he needed from his room, and ran to Aro.In Aro room there is a shrine dedicated to BritneySpears. Caius photographed Britney Spears; Jane couldwith LOTS of make-up look like her.Marcus meanwhile was sensing Aro's emotions toward Jane. He did love her, but not exactly in the way Janewanted. On the bright side, Aro and his wife weren'texactly on speaking terms either.

'Jane, what are you looking at?' Alec pulledme out of my daydream by asking thatquestion.
What were you daydreamingabout?
I hear you cry. (Non-figuratively,actually! I have vampire super-hearing!) So,to tell you the truth (since no-one will everread this) I was daydreaming about mymaster, Aro! I love the way, when he walks,his hair swishes about behind his back. All Ineed to do is rid of his wife, Sulpicia! Not toomuch of a job then. Just the thought of him…'JANE! What is UP with you today!?'Alec pulled me out of my daydream
