twenty

Areej,hisdaughter,Asseelandson,Saiaf.
Within
those
twenty
years,
the
Abdallah'shavebeenatremendous
part
of
not
only
me
andmyfamily'slife,
but
as
well
as
anintegralpart
of
our
societyandcommunity.
Mr.
Abdallahhasbeennothing
but
agreatrolemodel
for
hisfamilywhichhasresultedin
the
remarkableaccomplishments
of
hischildren;accomplishments
that
aredifficult
to
findintoday'ssociety.AsseelAbdallahhasestablishedanadmirablereputationin
our
community.Mrs.AbdallahearnedadegreeinComputerEngineeringatArizonaStateUniversityandafterwardscontributedmanyyears
of
service
to
Boeing.
She
has
sincethenvolunteered
as
the
Principal
of
the
ArizonaCulturalAcademy.Mr.Abdallah'sdaughter,Asseel,
has
beenanhonorable,dedicatedstudentand
as
aresultshe
has
beenawardedafullscholarship
to
Medicalschool.
Atthe
youngage
of
seventeen,
she
hasalreadycompleted
her
firstyear
of
college
at
ArizonaStateUniversity.
In
addition
to
her
academicsuccess,she
has
served
the
communitybyhelpingstudentsacademically
atthe
ArizonaCulturalAcademy.
Sheis
currentlyworkingtowardsadegreeinKinesiology.
Mr.
Abdallah'sson,Saiaf,
as
wellhasmarkedhiswayalong
the
rightpathinsociety.
He
hascompleted
two
yearstowards
an
Englishdegree
at
ArizonaStateUniversityinhopes
of
becominganauthor.Saiafhasalwaysportrayed
the
efforts
of
agoodcitizeninall
that
hedoes.For
not
only
has
hebeen
the
clearexample
of
alaw-abiding,youngman,he
has
as
wellbeenavolunteercoach
for
kids'soccerandhockeyteams.Needless
to
say,
Mr.
Abdallah
is
the
perfectexample
of
apositiveandinfluentialleader.Among
the
families
of
the
community,
Mr.
Abdallahhasserved
as
amediatorandcounselor.
He
hascreatedapraiseworthyrecord
of
service
of
humanity.Amongmanyonalist,he
has
volunteered
for
the
BosnianRefugeesand
the
SomalianRefugeesbyfinding
them
employment,housingandmedicalcare;
often
timesusinghisvery
own
home
as
atemporarysolution
fortheir
manyneeds.
It
is
imperative
to
mention
the
qualities
of
Mr.
Abdallah'scharacter.
In
2006,
Mr.
Abdallahparticipatedinthe"InterfaceDialogue",
an
eventcreated
withthe
solepurpose
of
establishingarespectfulrelationshipamongreligionssuch
as
Christianity,Judaism,andIslam.Thisremarkableeventwasnotedin
the
ArizonaRepublic.
