Dear Dir.Biolena ,

I am writing to you as I am interested to work in your department.

I am a licensed social worker and I have worked for a non-government

organization that has given me opportunities that developed my knowledge and
skills especially as part of a project-based program that requires thorough
deliberation of proposals for sponsorship and funding. Being a social worker by
profession, I have an understanding of the social development context since I
have dealt with grassroots people who directly needed assistance to help them
improve their living conditions. Having done community organizing with
advocacy, alongside psycho-social intervention, I came to practice the
profession which has made me contribute to address the needs of our clientele
who are children, families and communities. Not one agency can provide all
interventions and so I also developed how to mobilize other resources through
writing proposals and facilitating referrals.

I believe that my first experience of such multi-task job made me appreciate

the value of patience and hard work.
