First Installation:
If this is the rst AmpliTube 2 version you install, just register the software by connecting to the IK Multimedia registration
page (http://www.ikmultimedia.com/IKUser.html) and use your AmpliTube 2 serial number you have on the included serial card
(boxed product) or that has been delivered to you (online purchase, such as a Digital Delivery, or update).
Help: the serial number is the one that starts with ATX20-xxxxxxxx-xxxxx.
To complete the registration and authorization processes, please follow the instructions contained within the Installation Ma-
nual.
Upgrade from version 2.0:
If you are upgrading from version 2.0 please note that the USB iKey dongle has been discontinued and is no longer needed to
run AmpliTube 2. This can cause your Digital ID number to change which is why we are kindly asking you to authorize your
AmpliTube 2 copy again.
Your new Digital ID number will appear upon inserting the AmpliTube 2 plug-in inside of your host application or as a stand
alone application. An Authorization Wizard will appear and within this Wizard you will nd the your new Digital ID number.
To obtain your new Authorization Code, simply login to your IK Multimedia User Area (https://www.ikstore.com/Login/IKLogin.
cgi) and select the rst option Request a new authorization code. Enter in your new Digital ID number in the space provided
and a new Authorization Code will be sent to your registered email address. This new Authorization Code will fully activate
your AmpliTube 2.
