Lab - September 3, 2014
Vertical dimension / jaw relation records /mounting of master casts .
In lab we will learn how to:
Adjust the occlusion rims to establish the proper vertical dimension of occlusion
Make a centric relation record and mount the master casts on the articulator
**Dont forget to read lab manual

to......." and she has also suggested that we start as soon as possible to have some input before we let out
for Summer Break and bring it in our first day (Sept. 9th) for additional input.

To do for Lab - September 8, 2014
Those students that received a "3" or "4" on the practical exercise will be expected to redo that
procedure to the highest standards as homework, and present it to their faculty to be checked.
Those that received a 4 need also to retake, and pass the exam, on the future prescribed date.
Dr. Cheung or Dr. Glotzer will try to discuss all "4"s with those concerned.
Reminder:
In general clinic sessions implement clinical assistant skills, during an operative dentistry
procedure working along with a D3 or D4 student
There is a D2 Clinic Evaluation form on the Resources section of Classes, that should be completed,
and will also serve as a check list of important items to consider.
