 The average sale price of residential properties, in-cluding condominiums,sold in November in theOttawa area was $313,370,an increase of 7.4 per centover November 2008. Theaverage sale price for acondominium-class prop-erty was $225,767, an in-crease of 1.7 per cent over  November 2008. Service® system comparedwith 643 in November 2008, an increase of 42.5 per cent.Of those sales, 214 were inthe condominium propertyclass, while 702 were inthe residential propertyclass. The condominium property class includes any property, regardless of style (i.e. detached, semi-detached, apartment,stacked etc.) which is reg-istered as a condominium,as well as properties whichare co-operatives, lifeleases and timeshares. Theresidential property classincludes all other residen-tial properties.$340,075, an increase of 9.8 per cent over Novem- ber 2008. The Board cau-tions that average sale price information can beuseful in establishingtrends over time but shouldnot be used as an indicator that specific propertieshave increased or de-creased in value.
