 Use the Simple Present to express the idea that an


action is repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a
hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something
that often happens. It can also be something a person
often forgets or usually does not do.
Verb: Have

 They

 Ex: We have a dog.


 She has a dog.
Verb: Do

 They

 Ex: They do their homework everyday.


 She does her homework everyday
All other verbs.
 For all the other verbs we have to add and “s”, “es” or
“ies”, depending on the final letter of the verbs.
